Great place for a nice lunch break. Small menu but very delicious food. They have tables on the porch or in the garden. It is lovely sitting here enjoying good food and watching the lizards.

Excellent lunch service. I will definitely be back to try breakfast and dinner services. The crab nachos had fair amount of crab meats and a huge helping of bisque. The fried chicken topped salad was HUGE! The burger was a little over cooked but still juicy and flavorful.

The food was really good. Good size portions, good selection of sides. Service was a lil slow, but staff was very young. We had bang shrip to start...therw was enough for 4 people. My daughter had chicken strips and fries, her boyfriend has crab cakes and huge baked potato, my husband had the seafood platter with coleslaw and broccoli salad, I had seafood platter with hushpuppies and broccoli salad... 4 meals, 4 drinks and an appetizer under $140! Worth the trip!

The Farm, at 17 South is a mandatory rest stop on highway 17 south headed towards Tappahannock, VA. A hidden gem of a five star ⭐ cuisine tucked into a small restaurant. The atmosphere is eclectic with little knickknacks hanging on the wall that adorns this establishment. The staff was friendly, professional and courteous as I looked over the menu. I made my selections and before I could sit down the food was ready to go. I didn’t mind a walk around to stretch my legs or if I wanted to eat inside the restaurant or dine outdoors on this gorgeous pre-summer day. As I tore through my yummy lunch, I knew one thing for sure is I will be back for more. If you’re headed South on 17, check out The Farm, at 17 South you will not regret it. And your stomach will appreciate the amazing farm fresh food.

Excellent fresh food served, hot, pleasant servers, clean kitchen, clean atmosphere clean restrooms. We swing by there for lunch or dinner every time we’re in the northern neck. Try the pickle brine chicken it’s the best.

We drove up from Gloucester looking for seafood as the places down here are not great. We both had seafood platters and really enjoyed the flounder, shrimp, crab cakes, wonderful hushpuppies and taters.
